The Hendersons, A Gospel Singing Ministry: 
The Hendersons ministry is what it is today because of a genuine love
for God and gospel music, enhanced by Christian upbringing and many
years in gospel music. The original Hendersons was Sonny and his two
sisters. After that time Sonny traveled and sang with other groups for
many years. In 1989, after much prayer, we believed it was time for a
family music ministry. Sonny and Marie, with their
daughters, Lydia and Linda, reformed 
The Hendersons comprising the
special close family harmony and ministry that the group possesses. In
2003, Linda left the family ministry to pursue other interests. Since
that time, the family ministry through music has continued. We have
been blessed with individuals filling the third position with the
quality and close harmony and the high standard in gospel music that
The Hendersons have been known for and is necessary in today's world of
gospel music. It is The Hendersons desire and primary goal that souls
will be ministered to and sinners come to Christ. |

Sonny
has a rich history of gospel music, plays several instruments and
is gifted with a vocal range of all four parts. He currently sings,
emcees, writes and arranges music. Sonny has been in ministry for over
50 years.

Marie
and Sonny have been married for 42 years. She is the office
manager and serves as sound technician in concerts. She also gives that
"gentle push" to the other three that is needed to carry on.

Lydia
sings primarily the alto & tenor parts. She has been
involved in Christian music, singing in choirs, and other musical
presentations before joining the group.

Brad Adkinson fills the baritone position with The Hendersons. Although this is his first journey in Southern Gospel, he comes with an array of musical experience. He lives in Flomaton, AL with his wife Mindy and their two children.
